The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (www.math.bas.bg) and the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Cagliari (riemann.unica.it), Italy, organize in the period of September 6-8, 2010, the international workshop
GLOBAL ANALYSIS AND PDE ON MANIFOLDS
September 6-8, 2010
in the premises of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics (IMI, BAS), Sofia, Bulgaria.
The workshop is the framework of the longstanding collaboration between the
Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Cagliari, as well as the international colaboration programs with University of Paraná, Brazil.
The main purpose of the workshop is present recent results of global differential geometry, symplectic topology, partial differential equations on compact and noncompact manifolds, global solvability and regularity for vector fields, foliations and dynamical systems, geometric quantisation, inverse scattering problems, boundary and initial--boundary value problems for evolution and stationary problems, decay--regularity issues for differential operators on noncompact manifolds, applications in Mathematical Physics.
If you are interested to give a lecture please send a title and a brief abstract to Alexandre Kirilov
